Interpretation

I offer different interpreting services adapted to my clients’ needs. I am currently based in Brussels, but I am happy to travel to the city where your event takes place. I have already traveled to a number of countries to offer my services. On top of that, I am experienced in remote interpreting and have the necessary technical equipment to provide such a service.

Simultaneous Interpreting

In simultaneous interpreting, the speaker’s message is translated at the same time as they deliver their message. The people in the audience who do not understand the speaker’s language can listen to the interpretation through headphones.
This mode of interpreting is recommended for large multilingual events.
Please keep in mind that, if simultaneous interpretation is carried out on site, you will need interpreting booths.

Consecutive Interpreting

In the consecutive interpreting, the interpreter takes notes while the speech is being delivered and then reproduces it in the desired target language.
This mode of interpreting is recommended for events with a small number of people.
Please note that an event with consecutive interpretation will be twice as long.

Liaison Interpreting

When doing liaison interpreting, the interpreter listens to the messages conveyed by two parties engaged in a conversation and reproduces them—bilaterally—in the two languages involved. Sometimes they take notes so as not to leave out any detail.
This mode of interpreting is recommended for meetings between two parties who speak two languages.

Translation and Proofreading

Translation

I offer translation services in the same language pairs as my interpreting services—that is, I can translate texts written in English, French, German, Portuguese and Italian into Spanish or Catalan.

Proofreading

I also offer proofreading services for texts written in Spanish and Catalan. They can be translations into Spanish or Catalan or texts that were originally written in one of those languages.
